Drawdown Georgia Funders and Advisors Present at Philanthropy Southeast's Annual Meeting

A team from the Drawdown Georgia Climate Solutions & Equity Grants program had the chance to share how the program came together and what we've learned in the process from the first cohort to the second one. They presented during an afternoon panel today at the Philanthropy Southeast Annual Conference in Montgomery, AL. Dennis Creech of The Kendeda Fund moderated the session which included John Lanier from the Foundation and one of our equity funding advisors, Eriqah Vincent. They were joined by Daniela Cerón from Triangle Community Foundation and Gladys Hairston from the John Rex Endowment.
 
Other members of the Cohort One Funding Team include The R. Howard Dobbs, Jr. Foundation's Dobbs Fund, The Wilbur & Hilda Glenn Family Foundation, and The Sapelo Foundation.  Other equity advisors include Tamara Jones of Clean Energy Works and Hermina Glass-Hill of Oceana and The Susie King Taylor Women's Institute and Ecology Center.
